November 16 is the day, the first live event after a year and a half. The speed dates of the Techionista Academy. And we are proud to announce that we will be there! We choose our partnerships from our vision. In this blog we explain why we make this partnership and what you can expect from us.

Business Intelligence & Data Science one of our specialties

Looking ahead by looking in the rearview mirror? Yes, that's what we do. Business Intelligence is at the interface between business and technology. By unleashing our creativity on the technology while being in touch with the business, we increase our value. These days we are looking for people who have IT skills and who also like to give workshops, for example. Because you won't solve your IT problem with technology alone. That is checkbox 1 why we are going to collaborate with Techionista. We are looking for new BI colleagues who want to work with the latest technology, are interested in Power BI and Azure Machine Learning but also be trained in soft skills. Xander and Stephan explain it to you.

Women still underrepresented within IT

You can see it above. Xander and Stephan are men. Fortunately, within TeamValue we have a diverse team and out of (currently) 19 colleagues there are five women working, three of which are within IT. Like Techionista, we stand for diversity, empowering women within our market and we have already met a number of students through Techionista that we are very excited about. So we thought: putting our money where our mouth is. We are eager to welcome you to the team. But not only women of course, everyone should be able to be themselves because we believe that a team with not necessarily like-minded people in technology, personality, background is more powerful and comes to better results.

Connection to Microsoft

Vivianne Bendermacher, Founder of Techionista comments: "We don't have time to wait for the new generation to close the gender gap. If we don't enrich women now with ICT skills and retrain them into future-proof tech jobs; gender diversity in the labor market will only decline further."

We can only agree with that. And precisely that hands-on approach and the collaboration Techionista seeks with the Microsoft Azure Academy is also a check for us that the technical level is up to par and in line with the market.

TeamValue is a Microsoft Gold Partner in Data Analytics and Silver in data Platform. Also want to know more about us as a Cloud Service Provider or One Commercial Partner?

Will we see you at this event? Or would you just like to have a digital cup of coffee or have a technical or non-technical question? Want to know what it's like to work with us? Let us know or check out jobs.teamvalue.com.
