Tradition
Something about tradition. Yes, that's Christmas. Traditions are there to honor, follow and extend. We traditionally thank our network at Christmas with our year-end gift. This year we went out again. But our Account Manager wasn't the only one who went out this year.... For several years now, we at TeamValue have not been doing traditional Christmas gifts. We draw lots online and don't announce who your 'Secret Santa' is until just before Christmas. Exciting? Yes! Because who will have drawn you? What will you get? And when and how will you be personally surprised? It remains a mystery until the time comes. As far as we are concerned, a fine tradition to hold on to!
Response from one of our relations:
Pascale of Caesar was very pleased and thought we did well by continuing our year-end gift tradition with young local entrepreneur Caitlin of CS Patisserie & Chocolaterie. ''That's going to be savoring.''
Secret Santa
Secret Santa? We hear you thinking... What's secret about that if your employer organizes it? It's in the little things of life we know by now. With the budget, a colleague can unleash his/her creativity and really surprise someone personally. Because one size doesn't fit all.
And then in the week before Christmas came another surprise! We got to hear something super cool in our weekly 'Who are you gonna call' - an online meeting where team connection is key. The message? We want to extend the warmth and coziness of Christmas a little longer into these cold days where it's not natural for some to go out and visit. So an assignment came with a deadline within 24 hours!
- Send in a wish list of something we would make you and your Ohana - meaning family - happy. What would you top for some extra warmth and coziness? Will you build lego with your son? Or with your daughter enjoy crafting? Play a cool board game with friends? What gives you that warm feeling?
- Do the same for someone you know. Someone you would like to lend a hand for warmth and coziness with the holidays from your "extended Ohana. Don't know anyone? A good cause is also allowed.
Why we do it this way? The team is central. And especially in these times, a solid home base is important. In addition, it is very nice to receive personal gifts and also to be able to give something to someone else you like.
Ohana
We do see that word come up a lot, but what is our Ohana? What does it mean and why is it so important to TeamValue? We want to leave something behind. Something from ourselves for society and our children. Working on great projects is something you do together. Together with your team. And also with the support of your back home. Are you already in our network or not? We wish you happy holidays and a great 2022!
Would you like to know what our Ohana looks like? Also feel at home with an employer and be part of our club? Check it out here!
